The first thing you need to do is charge the battery — our Jooki arrived pretty drained, so this took about 30 minutes to do. Once the battery was charged, I turned on the Jooki to start the initial set up process. The next thing you need to do is connect your Jooki to your WiFi network which was really easy to do. Once it was connected to the WiFi, it started downloading updates. Once the updates were downloaded, I was able to create an account and then start adding in different Spotify playlists. You can also load MP3s onto it, audiobooks, and stream from any streaming service. Once that was set up I was able to link it to the different color tokens and my daughter was ready to use! He likes listening to different members of the family reading him a story! Storage is limited without buying extra storage. I’d also advise buying headphones too which means everyone else doesn’t have to listen to the same music over and over! It’s very useful at night for helping soothe a child to sleep.
You could get a very good bluetooth speaker for this price. Build quality is great, an its a great idea for kids. Just to know you need to download music files so they can be played anywhere. Spotify can only be played when connected to a wifi network which is no use when the kids are playing music in the car. This is easy to rip files from a CD, provided you have the CD. You can also download music files from apple music. Its not a problem, but you need to know spotify doesn't allow you to download music files. This speaker is perfect for introducing music to your children.

In order to listen to Spotify playlists, tracks or radios on Jooki, you need to connect your Spotify account with Jooki first. To do this, open the Spotify App on your phone, tablet, or computer. Play the track, playlist or radio and open "Devices available". Select Jooki-xxxx and return to the Jooki App. You should now see what you are currently listening to on Spotify. If you want to pair this song, playlist or radio with a figurine right away, tap on one of the figurines under "Select a character", you then will be redirected to an overview of your Jooki playlists.
If you don't want to pair it with a figurine, just tap "No thanks". Besides playing music on Jooki via Spotify or Deezer, you can also use Jooki offline. Perfect for the beach, the hotel or every other place where you can't connect it with a WiFi network. To upload files from your PC or Smartphone, click or tap "List of tracks" under "Add playlist".
